BC Cancer and BC Cancer Foundation are two Provincial organizations charged with fundraising for cancer research, delivering research and care to cancer patients in British Columbia.

WHAT

CtDNA Study can help unlock some of the answers and move us closer towards more personalized, responsive and timely cancer treatments.

WHY

In order to stay ahead of the cancer. Cancer is not static, it continues to evolve and work its way around treatments. We are hoping that through these blood tests and the data science behind this work we can understand the changes in cancer and figure out ways to target treat more effectively.

WILD CARD

Similarly to our funding of the Conconi Family Immunotherapy Lab, we wanted to invest in the new frontier in cancer research and the “on the ground” experts we have here in BC. The Conconi Innovation Grant provided “first money in” to launch this work at a bigger scale.
