Robert and Diane Conconi founded the Conconi Family Foundation in 2003. Robert is a serial Entrepreneur, who built and sold several companies over the course of his career. Diane had a career as a Nurse at BC Children’s Hospital and eventually transitioned to raising children and caring for their immediate family. Both Robert and Diane bring their unique and complementary lenses to the Foundation’s Board, where they oversee the charitable activities.
Robert has a passion for building capacity and transformational change, something that remains deeply rooted after decades of entrepreneurship. Diane, on the other hand, is passionate about caring for and supporting families. Together their passions help set the tone for the inner workings of the Foundation. Robert is also a cancer survivor and as a result, the Foundation directed significant funds to BC Cancer, most notably the establishment of the Conconi Family Immunotherapy Lab at BC Cancer Victoria. The Conconi Family Foundation has also been a long time supporter and a Circle of Care member at the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation.
