Coffee & Community: Visiting Providence Living at The Views
Long-term care doesn’t have to feel like a lonely and isolated place where you drop off a loved one.
Long-term care doesn’t have to feel like a lonely and isolated place where you drop off a loved one.
It can be a space that feels open and connected, part of the broader community, where friends, family, and even strangers can drop in and feel welcome. Providence Living is demonstrating how this kind of model can exist within publicly funded long-term care. But don’t just take our word for it, hear directly from two Comox residents who have made visiting The Views part of their routine. Through its made for B.C. “Home for Us” model of care, Providence Living is expanding this approach across more publicly funded long-term care homes throughout the province, because everyone deserves to feel at home.
