Meet Magnolia, a multi-service care aide working in the 6-person pilot household at Providence Health Care’s Youville Residence in Vancouver. In the Home For Us model of care, care is about more than completing tasks. It’s about knowing each resident as an individual, their routines, preferences, personalities, and what brings meaning to their day. For Magnolia, this means having more time to build relationships, share everyday moments, and support residents to live with autonomy and dignity.
