WHY DOES ICC MATTER:

Community inclusive social care is imperative for truly addressing peoples needs and tackling health inequalities upstream. With the current health care system over run, and strained, we need to reinforce (with funding and other resources) the existing assets available in the community. The upstream funding for ICC needs to be as integrated as the service delivery in the community. We believe engaging in ICC promotes building resilient communities through investing in community resources and infrastructure. This in turn, can strength communities to create health promotion and prevention strategies to further improve resiliency.
