Royal Inland Hospital Foundation (RIHF) through its fundraising work supports the Royal Inland Hospital. Located in Kamloops, Royal Inland Hospital (RIH) the hospital is in the Thompson Cariboo Shuswap geographical region and covers approximately 220,000 people.

WHAT

Conconi Family Foundation provided funding for the Interior Health Authority’s Mobile Patient Simulator Program. The program provides professional development and educational opportunities to the physicians, nurses and other medical professionals at the RIH and surrounding communities.

WHY

The reason for this grant is that patients in BC should receive the best care possible, regardless of where they live. We wanted to ensure that there are sufficient training resources in place to help deliver the high standard of care.

WILD CARD

Radio-thon campaign to fundraise for much needed capacity in the Interior. During a 12 hour radio match, this $100K Conconi Challenge campaign was able to unlock another $300,000.
