Matching up to $500,000

We are thrilled to announce that #CovidCourageYVR has been extended! We’ve teamed up with Y.P. Heung Foundation who along with their partners has donated another $300,000 matching funds towards #CovidCourageYVR. These funds will be matched evenly between @helpstpauls and @VGHFdn. You can still make an impact by donating!

Join us in supporting the courage of Vancouver’s health care professionals. Let them know we stand with them as they risk their lives to save ours, our families, friends, and neighbours.

To help healthcare teams on the frontlines of this crisis, the Conconi Family Foundation will match every donation made to the St. Paul’s and VGH+UBC Hospital Foundations — up to $500,000.

The money we raise together will:

  • support safety for healthcare professionals
  • ease the overall strain on our healthcare system
  • accelerate research and treatment options for COVID-19

Many of us know healthcare heroes who are working on the frontlines to help us.

Our daughter Tori, a nurse working to fight the outbreak, and her colleagues are our inspiration for this donation matching campaign.

Below are the two hospital foundations that will manage funds and provide tax-receipts for any donation.

All contributions make a difference. Thank you.

VGH+UBC Foundation

VGH+UBC Hospital Foundation is Vancouver Coastal Health’s primary philanthropic partner, raising funds for specialized adult health services and research for all British Columbians.

St. Paul’s Foundation

St. Paul’s Foundation raises funds to support compassionate, inspired care at Providence Health Care’s 17 health care sites in BC, including St. Paul’s Hospital.

Join us in supporting the courage of Vancouver’s health care professionals and let them know we are here for them as they go to work each day for us. Any size contribution helps support front line healthcare heroes and keeps them safe.

Show you’ve supported #CovidCourageYVR and upload selfie with the name of your donation inspiration and #CovidCourageYVR and share on social. Together we can help the frontline workers!
