Run for the Cure: Take 2

For the second year in a row, we will have a Conconi team all geared up to participate in CIBC Run for the Cure (Vancouver) benefiting the Canadian Cancer Society and specifically to fund breast cancer research.

If you’d like to participate there is still time to sign up or donate directly to the cause or sponsor a team. Robert L. Conconi Foundation will match all donations made to the Conconi team this year.

Breast cancer affects 1 in 8 women in Canada, and is a most commonly diagnosed cancer type for women. As we learn more through research we become better and more effective in treating it as well as improving quality of life after cancer. Research dollars are key in improving the lives of those affected and by extension their families and those close to them.

About CIBC Run for Cure:

The event in it’s current form has been around since 1997 with an incredible leadership by CIBC. Over the years it’s spread to multiple cities across the country and engages over 100,000 participants. CIBC run for the Cure raises over $17 million annually for breast cancer research.
